In November 2019 I attended the Virginia Art Education Association conference, and one of the workshops I really enjoyed was on stop motion animation.
We used "Stop Motion Studio"--a free mobile app--and spent the next hour of the workshop learning to use it.
I knew my students would love this fun way to combine art and technology, and they did!
Here are a few animations they made right after they installed the app!
Later, I hope to offer stop motion animation as a project choice.
