I, E. O. Clements, now residing in Scottsville, Virginia, do hereby make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills or codicils by me at any time heretofore made.
I. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses, including the cost of a suitable tombstone, be paid as soon after my death as conveniently may be.
II. All the rest and residue of my property, real, personal and mixed, wheresoever situated, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mary J. Clements, absolutely and in fee simple.
III. I appoint my said wife, Mary J. Clements, Executrix of this my last will and testament, and I request that she be permitted to qualify as such without security. I authorize and empower my said Executrix to sell and convey real as well as personal property at such price on and such terms as to her may seem wise, and no purchaser shall be required to see to the use or application of the purchase money.
WITNESS my hand to this my will, which is written above in typewriting, this 29th day of January A. D. nineteen hundred and fifty-two.

VIRGINIA: IN THE CLERK’S OFFICE OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF ALBEMARLE COUNTY, SEPTEMBER 29th, 1952.
A paper writing bearing date the 29th day of January 1952, purporting to be the last will and testament of E. O. Clements, deceased, late a resident of Albemarle County, Virginia, was produced before me, Eva W. Maupin, Clerk, in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office and offered for proof and probate and was proven by the oaths of Elisabeth R. Aaron, Joseph W. Richmond and George M. Coles, the three attesting witnesses thereto, who testified that they were all personally present when the said E. O. Clements signed and declared said paper writing to be his will and at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, they subscribed their names as attesting witnesses thereto.
The said Elisabeth R. Aaron, Joseph W. Richmond and George M. Coles further testified that on the 29th day of January 1952, the day said paper writing bears date, the said E. O. Clements was of a sound mind and disposing memory and perfectly capable in all respects of making and executing a will.
The said paper writing is therefor considered fully proven and is admitted to probate as and for the true last will and testament of E. O. Clements, deceased.

I, Mary J.
