Middle School students learned about the art of other countries through a variety of art projects.
Since originally posting these lesson plans, there has been controversy over what some deem “cultural appropriation.” When children in my classes created artwork in the “style” of the art of other countries, it was always, always coming from a place of cultural appreciation.
