James McComb
August 8, 1765 - October 25, 1846
Augusta County, Virginia
Died, at his residence in this county, on the 25th of October, Mr. James Macomb, in the 83rd year of his age. The deceased was a native of Ireland, but came to this country when quite a young man, and had been a resident of Augusta for about sixty years. He sustained through life the character of an honest, upright man and good citizen, and has left amongst us a large circle of conexions and worthy descendants.
